Celtic Frost was one of the most important and influential bands in genres like Crust, Thrash, Doom, Black, Death, Gothic and many. Tom “Warrior” Fischer cited many influences (Venom, Dead Can Dance, Discharge, The Sisters of Mercy, Black Sabbath, Bauhaus, David Bowie, Brian Ferry, etc).

Singer and guitarist Tom Gabriel Fischer announced his departure from Celtic Frost on 9th of April 2008, due to “the irresolvable, severe erosion of the personal basis so urgently required to collaborate within a band so unique, volatile, and ambitious.”

Celtic Frost’s former frontman, guitarist and singer Tom Gabriel Fischer, adopted the alias Tom Warrior.
